The Church Connection-- fact is city manager Kobrock, city mayor MaClean, previous mayor Brian Rines and several other individules connected to city government all go to the same church. It is difficult to remove corrupt city government when they are all connected to the same church. This is kind of like a secret society that operates under the radar of public view.

 

For many years I been paying double taxes,   because the town threatened me. They told me this, and honest to god it's true "If Your House Is As Bad As You Say It Is, Then We Are Going To Condemn Your House And Kick You Out" and of course they deny it. This is why there are recordings of town officials saying things that you see here. I had a talk with the tax assessor and informed him I had recordings of him, my taxes are now half, its all in the town records. Did I say double taxes?
I correct that statement, I mean triple taxes. I paid the following property taxes to the City of Gardiner, in the year 2005 amount of $1,600.00,   in the year 2004 amount of $1,511.76,  
in the year 2003 about amount of $1,600.00. My property is only worth $566.00 in taxes, now do you understand what fear can do to you, triple.
No one should have to live in fear of town officials misconduct. Only by exposing them, can the problem be resolved, recent articles in the Kennebec Journal about Gardiner further indicate that there is something more going on then what we read about. This is why there is video and audio.
And of Course We want you to post your complaints also, so that everyone can see what the town is doing.If anything bad happens to us it will be the result of this information. Who knows how far the town is willing to go to suppress this information. The information here is kept at a separate location. This web site is proxied and can run from outside the US. Even if we all disappear  for some unknown reason, someone will know, someone will take over. We are not going away.
Kobrock is very angry. Who knows what he will do? If something happens to us, this is why.

Sometimes we have to choose. I choose freedom. Even if the price is high, freedom is better. Have you ever heard in the history of Maine any town or city that would deny permits to a homeowner whose property is in such dire need of repairs as mine and then claim after charging 3 times the property value that the homeowner did not pay enough. Furthermore if that wasn't enough the city or town as the case might be denies the homeowner permits to fix his home regardless of town or city ordnances and laws that mandate that permits be issued. The town or city will just make a new law to fit their criteria after the fact. And if you complain about their illegal actions you will be lucky if you have running water or a working toilet. If you decide to sue them, they will keep you tied up in court for years. Does this sound far fetched? NO  , BEEN THERE DONE THAT

This is the same question Judge Marden asked himself in open court just before issuing a protection order against the city and Mr. Kobrock and couldn't come up with an answer except the word "STUPID" The city of Gardiner is it's own worst enemy, and that is a fact".
